Terms of Use
Software and Provider
These terms concern JCH IED Studio, provided by Joachim Christof Huben / JCH Technologies. Contact details are in our Legal Notice.
The application is for engineering and testing IEC 61850 systems. It does not replace certified protection, control or supervisory equipment. Follow the safe and lawful use information in the Legal Notice.
Licence and Entitlement Checks
You receive a non-exclusive right to use the software within the scope of the purchased offer. Subscription access depends on its validity and the conditions disclosed before purchase. Mandatory statutory usage rights remain unaffected.
The app checks entitlement through the licence service, processing account, device and subscription information described in our Privacy Policy. A locally stored signed token supports verification without a server connection during its validity. Periodic connections may be needed to renew it.
Purchases through Paddle
For Paddle purchases, the Paddle entity identified at checkout is the seller (Merchant of Record). JCH Technologies provides the software. The Paddle Buyer Terms also apply to the purchase.
Product scope, price, taxes, billing period, any trial and renewal terms are shown in the offer and checkout before a binding purchase. A recurring subscription renews under those agreed conditions unless effectively ended.
Managing or Cancelling a Subscription
Manage or cancel Paddle subscriptions using the management links in your purchase confirmation or Paddle buyer support. For technical activation issues, contact mail@jch-technologies.de.
Uninstalling the app does not itself cancel a subscription. Account deletion and contract cancellation are separate actions; follow the in-app guidance and confirm cancellation with the relevant purchase provider. Apple subscriptions must be managed through Apple.
Apple Purchases
App Store distribution and Apple purchases are subject to the applicable Apple terms, including the Apple Standard EULA and Apple Media Services Terms. Paddle does not process purchases made through Apple.
Statutory Rights
Statutory remedies for defects, mandatory consumer rights and claims that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected. See Withdrawal and Refunds for information about reversing a purchase.
